Hi All
I had the video shoot for the first single last week. Filmed it in Hoxton, East London.
Very near where i recorded This Is Hope in the Strongroom Studios - that place
will always feel a bit like home. Actually did some of The Water there too. The sun came out.
Anyway, the shoot was good fun and you will see the video very soon uploaded on the website.
Had some nice lunch in the S&M cafe over there. Good veggie... (just spent too long trying to spell sausages)
An alternative version of the video will be cut in a few weeks with some of your contributions...so keep them
coming in. Got some very original submissions so far -
A pic of the shoot is in my photos section.......and a police car nearby that i just noticed. For the external
shots I had to stand on some concrete boxes on Commercial St - lots of builders van's comment's coming
my way, and also a very small nun.
Thanks go to Brendon Rowen, the Director, and Joss Maines, the editor.
It's the first video i've actually ever performed in with an instrument - one of them is my uncle
John's bass - i have childhood memories of it and its great to now own and play. Looks very cool
in black and white. Oh i could go on about that bass for a while.....
See some of you on the May tour - been working on the set list - lots to fit in....I'm thinking of doing an acoustic mini set too.
For the Tobermory gig the girls choir who sang on Pay Attention To The Human will come up on stage, hopefully my uncle too.
I've got a new fat Yahama guitar so i'm keen to strap it on.
Cheers
Colin, the musician
Cheers for the Ripon gig; odd venue, and I think a few technical probs but nothing which affected the sound. Looking forward to more in the future, and if you can play Ripon then surely you can play my home town Otley (10 miles north of Leeds). may look into trying to get you here at some point. You could even join in on one of the local pubs' acoustic nights!

Hey Colin,
Really looking forward to your gig in London on Thursday; the new album is incredibly incredible, you good sir.
If you get a moment, I'd really appreciate your feedback on my own band, Myles Power. We've got some songs on our page here www.myspace.com/mylespowerspace .
Keep up the work.
